Woman Asked To Leave Restaurant For Not Being Appropriately Dressed

An Italian backpacker, Martina Corradi was asked by a waitress to leave a restaurant at Bondi beach in Australia because she wasn’t ‘appropriately dressed'.

The backpacker was shared on Facebook that she was at a popular restaurant at the beach when a waitress told her that she is not well dressed and that it is not acceptable at a place like that. Corradi shared a picture of her to ask for other people’s opinion if her dress was really inappropriate. She was seen wearing a high-waist white linen pant paired with a lace top.

In her Facebook post, Corradi shared that she and her partner, who was present with her, were shocked to hear the waitress’ comment on her outfit. She also claimed that the waitress called the manager and made him tell her that she should dress like that to go to a restaurant. “I felt very embarrassed and offended at the same time,” she said. The restaurant is yet to comment on the matter.

In November this year, actor-model Poonam Pandey was arrested in Goa for shooting a video at Chakoli dam site in Canacona. The authorities charged her for obscenity and alleged her for having a ‘porn photoshoot’. This attracted a lot of backlash from social media users as they pointed out that the same treatment was not given to Milind Soman, an actor who had posted a picture in which he could be seen running naked on a beach. Later the same charges of obscenity in public were pressed against Soman but he was not arrested for it.
