Amruta Fadnavis Hits Back At Nawab Malik: During a press conference, NCP leader Nawab Malik alleged that Jaydeep Rana, who is currently in jail for drug trafficking case, has close ties with the ex-chief minister Fadnavis and his wife Amruta Fadnavis. Amruta is an Indian banker, singer and social activist.
Maharashtra Minister for Minority Affairs and Skills Development Malik suggested that BJP leader and ex-chief minister Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis is behind the illegal drug trade in the state. After the allegations, Amruta Fadnavis took to social media and responded to the allegation. Fadnavis, wrote 'vinash kale viprit buddhi'.
Malik also said, "Jaydeep Rana was the finance head of the company producing the 'Mumbai River Anthem (2018)' sung by Amruta Fadnavis. The illicit drugs business in the state expanded during Fadnavis' five-year tenure. We demand a CBI or judicial probe into this."
Meanwhile Devendra Fadnavis wrote "people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones". He also warned that "after Diwali, I will make a bomb blast".
Last week, Nawab Malik launched attacks against Sameer Wankhede, alleging he fraudulently obtained a birth and caste certificate to secure his government job. Malik also tweeted a picture from the officer’s first wedding, where he and his ex-wife Dr Shabana Qureshi can be seen sitting during the wedding function. He has also released a document which is reportedly Wankhede’s “Nikah Nama” or marriage certificate. Wankhede is the NCB official who is leading the investigation in the Aryan Khan case.
