Maniesh Paul Says His Wife Sanyukta Took Care Of Everything When He Was Jobless

Maniesh Paul Sanyukta Paul: Maniesh Paul recently revealed that his wife Sanyukta Paul has always been the influential force in his life.

Maniesh, who she has been friends with since kindergarten, recently the actor-comedian shared that it was his wife who supported the household when he struggled a lot during the initial phase of his career. Maniesh and Sanyukta got married in 2007 and now have two kids, Yuvann and Saisha.

In a post for Humans Of Bombay, the 39-year-old anchor opened up about the time when the couple decided to move to Bombay (2008) so that Maniesh could pursue his passion for acting. He claims that Sanyukta stood by him and supported him during his days of struggle. "While I struggled, Sanyukta backed me," he revealed he was "jobless", just two years after getting his first full-time job as a radio jockey. Later, the couple got married and after moving in together, Sanyukta took up a job as a teacher. "I was juggling my job and a few anchoring assignments. We barely got any time together, but she never complained... not once," he mentioned how his wife supported him financially by working throughout the year.

Sanyukta and the Mickey Virus Maniesh Paul actor are kindergarten friends. He said that while they had known each other since nursery, they hardly interacted, as “she was studious" and "I hated studying”.

Paul, the Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa host explained how Sanyukta motivated him and asked him to not lose hope while he was struggling to make a career in the industry. “Then in 2008, I was jobless for a year." He said he didn’t have the money to pay the house rent. "But, Sanyukta took care of everything. She’d say, ‘Be patient-you’ll get a great opportunity soon,'" he noted.

A year later, he bagged a television serial and things started to pick up. He then went on to do reality shows and award nights. In 2011, the couple welcomed a daughter and in 2016, a son. “Without Sanyukta, I would probably still be wondering what to do with my life. Or worse – failed my 10th grade! I am where I am only because of her,” the actor concluded.
