Bihar Board Science Topper: Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Bihar Board intermediate results 2021. The exams were held from Feb 1 to 13. In total, 13.4 lakh students appeared for it, out of which 10.45 lakh students cleared the exam.

The pass per cent is 78.04. In all the three streams-Humanities, Commerce and Science, girls have bagged the top ranks. Madhu Bharati of Khagaria stood first in the Humanities stream with 92.6%. Aurangabad's Sugandha Kumari bagged the first position in the Commerce stream with 94.2%. Sonali Kumari, the Bihar Board Science topper, is the daughter of a rickshaw puller.   1. Sonali Kumari is a student of Smt. Parmeshwari Devi Uchhtar Madhyamik School, Bihar Sharif, Nalanda. She has scored 471 out of 500 marks, that is, 94.2% in the Bihar Board intermediate exam.
  2. Sonali Kumari's father is a rickshaw puller. He works near the Bihar Sharif Bus stand. Fighting against all odds, Kumari worked hard and secured the top position in the Bihar Board class 12 Science examination. Using the COVID-19 related lockdown as a 'weapon', Kumari prepared for the examination. "I utilised the time that I got during Coronavirus-related lockdown and did self-study, " said the Bihar Board Science topper.
  3.  Sonali Kumari stated how her tuition teacher helped her prepare for her board exam even during the Coronavirus lockdown. "My tuition teacher Jeet Sir has also guided me during my preparations for board exams. He used to come to my house and teach me every day, even during the lockdown. He used to give his mobile phone to me so that I can attend online classes and access to study materials online. He had guided me even in my matric exams," she said.
  4. Sonali thanked her teacher and parents for their support during her preparations. "I want to thank my teacher and my parents for their constant support during my board preparations," Kumari added.
  5. Sonali aspires to become an IAS officer. She wants to work for society and help the poor. "I want to become an IAS officer in the future. I will prepare for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. I have always wanted to work for society and help the poor. I want to support the weaker sections of the society so that they can also prove their mettle as I did," she said.
