YouTube star Lilly Singh will be seen in an animated LGBTQ short film titled Lilly Singh’s Proud Princess. The film will be a musical, which will revolve around the theme of LGBTQ pride, and will be a part of a digital kids content studio named Pocket.watch.
Lilly Singh will be portraying a princess who goes on to take "pride in her identity." Albie Hecht, the chief content officer of Pocket.watch said the film the film aims to address LGBTQ identity issues in children. He also acknowledged Lilly Singh's immense talent by saying that she will be "an eloquent and articulate spokesperson" for the issue the film wishes to address. Singh will be the voicing her character who is a young princess.
The film's premiere date has not yet been set, and will be releasing all the important details later.
