Virgin River season 4 ending has left fans in a frenzy. With a revelation at the end of the finale episode, it has now become hard for fans to wait for the premiere of season 5 to see what happens next on the show. The wait for season 4 was a long one, with it releasing after over a year since season 3 premiered.

Virgin River season 4 finally premiered on Netflix on July 20, 2022. Season 3 left us with a lot of drama with Mel and Jack, Jack's shooter, Hope's accident, the arrival of Doc's grandson, and all the drama between Preacher and Paige, with Wes and Vince coming into the picture. With so many unanswered questions, fans waited for the arrival of Season 4 with bated breath.

Keeping up with fans' expectations, Season 4 arrived with more drama along with answers to some of the questions that lingered in our minds. Most of the Virgin River's core cast including Alexandra Breckenridge, Martin Henderson, Colin Lawrence, Annette O’Toole, Tim Matheson, Zibby Allen, Benjamin Hollingsworth, and others returned to screens in season 4 with additional cast members Mark Ghanime ( Dr. Cameron), Kai Bradbury ( Doc's Grandson Denny) and  Melissa Montgomery, the new drug lord.

Virgin River Season 4 Ending - All The Details

Jack (Martin Henderson) and Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) go through the series, with more challenges coming their way with Mel's pregnancy and the lingering question of whether or not Jack is the father of the baby.Spoiler alert! he is. The couple is seen battling through Jack's alcohol abuse, which finally leads to him going for therapy.

Preacher is seen torn between wanting to find and protect Paige and her son Christopher, while he also finds himself developing feelings for his Aikido instructor, Julia ( Lucia Walters). As things start heating up among the two, Paige returns and then Preacher puts everything aside to help her.

However, the most shocking of it all was how the show ended. In the finale episode Jack and Mel rush to help Charmaine, who seems to be in an emergency, where she reveals the secret she has been hiding. The show comes to an end with Char saying, "This is Karma. I'm being punished. It's because I lied. The twins they are not your babies."

The show ends where Charmaine reveals to Jack that the babies in fact are not his, and that she had been lying all this while. What is next, only the creators can tell, but the wait in fact is gonna be for a while, as no details of when the next season is gonna premiere has been announced yet.
