This Was Our Journey: Ankita Lokhande Shares Pictures With Sushant On His First Death Anniversary

Sushant Singh first death anniversary: Television actor Ankita Lokhande, who had dated and worked with late Sushant Singh Rajput on the television show Pavitra Rishta, has penned an emotional tribute to the actor on his first death anniversary. She has also shared short clips of several candid moments from their life together.

The Manikarnika actor shared a video with a montage of unseen photos of her and Rajput from the time they were together. The video features their intimate moments, photos from Rajput's television days when he was prepping for his big Bollywood break and more. "14 June," Lokhande wrote in the caption with a heartbreaking emoji. "This was our journey !!!! Phir milenge chalte chalte (sic)," she added.

In another video, she wrote, "Left with these memories only. U will always be loved and cherished (sic)." In the video, the former couple is seen dancing on the eve of Diwali in 2011. Rajput had quit the show Pavitra Rishta in 2011 to pursue his Bollywood dreams but Lokhande continued to be a part of the show till the end. The couple parted ways in 2016. Meanwhile, earlier this month, Lokhande shared how Rajput taught her acting on the occasion of Pavitra Rishta completing 12 years. She went on to claim that when she was chosen for the television series, predominantly she wasn’t an actor and Rajput was the one who used to teach her what is acting. "Because I was a junior, he was a senior. He always taught me. He was a brilliant actor, brilliant co-star and I was very fortunate to work with him,” she said in a video posted on Instagram. Read what Ankita has to say about her breakup with SSR here.

Lokhande, in her video, further said that only “Sushant could be Archana’s Manav.” Sharing an emotional note she said that Pavitra Rishta is definitely incomplete without him. "Archana ka Manav sirf vahi tha (He was the only Manav to Archana). I am sure he is watching us today and is just happy wherever he is,” she said. More here.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 last year.
