Rautela shared a semi-naked photo on her Instagram completely covered in mud from head to toe. The 27-year-old explained the benefits of mud baths writing, "Cleopatra was an early lover of a mud bath, while modern fans include me. Enjoying the red mud of a Balearic beach." She further noted the history of the mud bath spa saying it is said to have been used as "a mirror by Venus, the Roman goddess of love". It is, according to Rautela's research, mineral-rich which is considered therapeutic and good for the skin. It is still heralded today for the ability to detoxify and draw out impurities, soften skin, improve circulation, and ease aches and pains, she reasoned in the elaborated post.

The Pagalpanti actor, however, is being trolled on social media for replicating Anil Kapoor's famous mud fight scene from Naayak.

Netizens found Rautela's picture hilarious and are comparing her with Vijay Raaz from the 2004's film Run. "Choti ganga bol kar naale mai kuda diye" one of the trolls recalled a popular funny scene from the film. Many dropped laughing emojis, while others wrote, "Are koi pani dalo jldi". One user wrote in Hindi which loosely translates to "On the name of mini Ganga, someone made her fall in a sewer" while the other one commented, "Nayak 2.0". One of the users while expressing her disbelief over the picture also commented, "Omg what is this mam". Some also loved her advice and thanked her for the beauty regime.

The model-turned-actress had bagged the Miss Diva title back in 2015 and represented India at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant. On the work front, Rautela has starred in films like Singh Saab The Great, Great Grand Masti, Hate Story 4 and Race 3. She was last seen in Virgin Bhanupriya, which released on streaming platform Zee 5. She will be making her debut in the Tamil film industry with a sci-fi film in which she will be playing the role of a microbiologist and an IITian. She also has a bilingual thriller Black Rose along with the Hindi remake of Thirutu Payale 2 in the pipeline.
