6 Upcoming Hollywood Remakes To Look Forward In 2023

Upcoming Hollywood Remakes
Bollywood has so far seen 2022 as a promising year. The year has it all, from high-budget films to all the anticipated remakes. Laal Singh Chaddha was one of many remakes we witnessed in the Indian entertainment industry last year. This movie, which stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, was a Hindi remake of the well-known Forrest Gump film from Hollywood.

The connection between Bollywood and Hollywood goes far beyond just the similarity of their names. Hollywood has greatly influenced Bollywood’s filmmaking and storytelling, to the point where many Hollywood films have been remade for Indian audiences by renowned Hollywood actors and directors too. Many great Hollywood films have been remade to appeal to Indian film buffs, often with their own tweaks and twists, unique touches, and a dash of the traditional Bollywood masala.

Here are a few additional Hollywood remakes that are currently planned.

Upcoming Hollywood Remakes In 2023:

The 2002 French action-thriller The Transporter will soon be translated into Hindi. The official rights to remake the action-thriller and turn it into a franchise have been purchased by producer Vishal Rana, who most recently co-produced Blurr. He remained mum regarding his casting preferences, but rumours have it that Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Ranveer Singh are being taken into consideration.

The Intern

One of the heartwarming films of 2015 starred Robert De Niro and Anne Hathaway. It told the tale of 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker, who accepts a position as an intern at the e-commerce fashion startup founded by the young Jules Ostin. After some initial scepticism, the slightly cynical Jules begins to warm up to him, and the two develop a special friendship.

Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will reportedly co-star in the Hindi version. Recently, there were rumours that Deepika had been replaced in the film, but there has been no official statement on the matter.

According to a recent announcement made by the streaming service, Varun Dhawan will star in the Indian original series of Citadel on Prime Video. The Russo Brothers, who created the original American show, published an announcement on Citadel, an original spy series.
