Looop Lapeta Release Date Out: 7 Things To Know About Much-awaited Taapsee Pannu starrer

Taapsee Pannu starrer Looop Lapeta : Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu is probably the busiest actor this year with numerous projects in her kitty. Among the many others, her upcoming film Looop Lapeta is all set to hit the cinemas in 2021.  The film is being directed by Aakash Bhatia and has Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin in pivotal roles. On 16 February, the cast and crew wrapped up the shooting in Goa. Producer Tanujj Garg promised that the film “will be the craziest ride of the year”.

Pannu announced today on her social media the release date. Sharing a teaser of the comic thriller, Pannu wrote, “Brace yourself to meet Savi and Satya….. #LooopLapeta in theatres this October 22, 2021. a comic thriller we rarely get ! 

Here are 10 things to know about the forthcoming film Looop Lapeta:

• Looop Lapeta is the Hindi remake of 1998 German film Run Lola Run, starring Franka Potente, and Moritz Bleibtreu. The original film, which is a cult classic, follows the story of a woman who needs to earn 100,000 Deutschmarks in the short time of twenty minutes to save her boyfriend's life.
• Bringing forth a new pair the thriller will feature Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin as the protagonists, who will be playing each other’s love interest.
• The duo shot an unusually different romantic scene in an open ground. Speaking of the particular scene, the actor said, “This is the first time that I have shot a romantic scene with an action scene’s set-up — harnesses, rigs, and mid-air elevation. Had I been an onlooker, I would have also been fascinated to just watch it happen.” 
• Initially, Taapsee was reluctant to take up the project. In a social media post she revealed that she went for narration with a “no”. “From entering the narration with the idea to say No, to leaving it with an immediate Yes, thanks to these gentlemen for hanging by a solid script and concept for years and being more sure of me being Savi than I was,” the Instagram post read.

• Recently, the leads in the film shared a still on Instagram, which had them in a tender romantic pose. A part of the post shared by Taapsee read: “Enter the world of fire n ice!” as she explained the relationship their characters Savi and Satya share in the film.
• The film is helmed by noted ad filmmaker Aakash Bhatia, who will make his debut with this feature film. 
• The shooting of Looop Lapeta wrapped up this week and the film is slated to release later this year.
