Sherni new poster out: A fresh poster of Vidya Balan-starrer drama, Sherni was out on Tuesday.

Vidya Balan is all set to be back on the silver screen this year with the film in which she is playing the role of an IFS (Indian Forest Service) office. Sherni, due to the pandemic-induced restrictions, will have an OTT release.
Balan took to Instagram and shared the new poster writing, "In the midst of challenges, she is fearless. Hear the #Sherni roar in the #SherniTrailer, tomorrow at 12 PM." The teaser of the film, which will have Balan in the role of a forest officer, shows her standing in the middle of a dense forest. Meanwhile, in the background she says, “No matter how dense the forest is, the tigress knows her way.” The Dirty Picture actor walks through grasslands with two subordinates and a close-up shows her searching for something important.

Balan is making a comeback almost after a year. She was last seen in Shakuntala Devi. Talking about her upcoming film, the Kahaani actor, in an interview with the Times of India, shared that she loves to explore new subjects and characters. “I get bored very easily,” she revealed claiming that she has a need to “continuously do different things” and predominantly “explore subjects and characters that have not been tapped, yet”. She said she tries to interpret subjects and characters her way.
The trailer for the film will be released on June 2 and the film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in June.
