Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, inarguably one of the most adorable celebrity couples, are going to get married in September 2025, according to The Daily Mail. The pop sensation and music producer have reportedly planned a two-day intimate celebration in California's Montecito. The weekend affair is only open to the couple's closest friends and family, with guests requested to bring overnight bags. Although the guest list has not been made public, Gomez and Blanco's friends and colleagues, like Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce, Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Meryl Streep, are some of the celebrities expected to attend the wedding. 

Reports speculate that Indian-American influencer Jay Shetty is expected to officiate their wedding. The couple appeared on his podcast, On Purpose, earlier, discussing their relationship and wedding plans. Shetty has officiated high-profile weddings before, including those of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck in 2022 and Vanessa Hudgens and Cole Tucker in 2023.

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement on December 12, 2024, sharing glimpses of the proposal and her stunning engagement ring. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “Forever begins now…” Benny was quick to add a sweet comment, “Hey wait… that’s my wife,” melting hearts everywhere.

In the music video, Gomez appeared in pyjamas, sharing a scene with Blanco, who was dressed as a giant white teddy bear. The duo collaborated again in 2023 on her track Single Soon, released in August.

Selena and Benny went public with their relationship in December 2023, though it’s reported that they had been dating privately for six months prior. Their relationship quickly gained attention from fans, with the couple often sharing sweet moments on social media.

Since their announcement, Gomez and Blanco have been spotted attending major events like the 2024 Golden Globes and Emmy Awards, and appearing together on talk shows and podcasts.

Blanco recently surprised his fiancée with a prom-themed party after learning that she had never attended her high school senior dance. He shared the surprise on The Jennifer Hudson Show in early April, revealing how he wanted to make up for that missed experience.

On April 24, Blanco posted an Instagram video showcasing a special photoshoot they did at the mall to commemorate the evening. The video, set to the soulful track Just the Two of Us by Bill Withers and Grover Washington Jr., was captioned "wow".

"My fiancée has never been to prom before...so I asked her if we should take prom photos together at a mall...she said yes!" Blanco wrote in the post, adding that he went all out and hired a limousine for their unique and memorable night.
