Popular American comedy crime fiction series Only Murders In The Building will be returning to Hulu with a new season soon in 2022. The show features Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short in lead roles as neighbours who decide to investigate a death case in their apartment building that the police claimed as suicide. The show garnered critical acclaim for its plot and the characters and their chemistry that was livened up by the cast. Here is everything we know so far about the show's second season.

Only Murders In The Building Season 2

Only Murders In The Building season 1 released on August 31, 2021. The season 1 featured the three main leads Charles-Haden Savage (Steve), Oliver Putnam (Martin) and Mabel Mora (Selena) who live in different blocks of the apartment building Arconia situated in Upper West Side. These complete strangers share one thing in common, their love for true crime podcast. When a suspicious death takes place in their building and the police rules it out as suicide, the trio comes together and takes upon itself to investigate the case through podcast that they started on their own.

The neighbours were successful in finding who the real culprit was in season 1. However, the season ended with a major cliffhanger that showed the three as suspects in another murder case that took place in their building and now they become the subject of their favourite true crime broadcast instead. The show is created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, produced by Jane Raab and Thembi Banks and is composed by Siddhatha Khosla. Steve, martin and Selena are also executive producers of the series.

Only Murders In The Building Season 2 Release Date:

The series was renewed for a season 2 back in September 2021 that is scheduled to release on Hulu on June 28, 2022. The season 1 had 10 episodes of around half an hour each. It will be fun to see how the tables turn in season 2 as the investigators become suspects and what the future holds for them.
