Samantha's career
She has appeared in more than 40 movies in her 12-year long career. Some of her best roles include Eega, Mahanati, Mersal, 24, Dookudu, Rangasthalam, Super Deluxe, Oh! Baby and more. She got hitched to fellow actor Naga Chaitanya in 2017. However, the duo announced their separation last year.
On the work front, she was last seen in Pushpa The Rise’s special dance track titled ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava.’. This was the first single of her career. The song went viral and created a lot of controversies too. She will be next seen in Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. It is a Vignesh Shivan directorial. She will be seen sharing the screen space with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara. She will also be seen in Shaakuntalam which is written and directed by Gunasekhar. The film stars Samantha in the titular role.
