RRR OTT Release Time: When To Watch This Blockbuster?

RRR will soon be released on OTT for everyone eagerly waiting to watch the blockbuster in the comfort of their homes. While Zee5 has bagged the streaming rights for the film in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, the film’s Hindi version will soon be released on the OTT platform, Netflix.

The movie RRR, Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in Telugu, and Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi, was released worldwide on April 24, 2022, and had a successful month-long theatrical run. This epic action drama is based on two freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheemand starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr (Jr. NTR), and Ram Charan.

This film also marks Alia Bhatt's debut in any of the South Indian film industries. The film’s Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam language versions are already streaming on OTT platform Zee5 after a successful stint at the theatres.

RRR OTT Release Time: When To Watch The Hindi Version Of This Blockbuster?

RRR Hindi Film streaming right has been bagged by OTT platform Netflix. The Hindi version will premier on the OTT platform Netflix, on June 2, 2022, just days after the movie’s OTT debut on Zee5. Netflix took to Twitter, officially confirming the news stating– “Did you hear that ROAR? THAT’S US SCREAMING IN EXCITEMENT! RRR is coming to Netflix in Hindi and WE. ARE. READY.”

The film will be available to watch on Netflix, streaming from June 2, 2022. Going by the frenzy on social media and the response received by the audience in its theatrical run, it'll be no surprise if RRR shatters the previous OTT records held by any movie.

Reports reveal that the digital and satellite rights of RRR acquired by Zee Network were for a mighty Rs 300 Crore. The details of the deal, however, have not been officially revealed by the makers.

The film is already available to stream in all the South Indian languages, on Zee5. It is speculated that the Hindi version of this blockbuster will be available on Netflix at 12 am IST, June 02, 2022. After a long wait for the film to release in theatres ever since it was first announced in 2018, the film was finally released in April 2022 worldwide, and surpassed the Rs 1,000 crore mark, becoming the third highest-grossing Indian film of all time within 16 days.

However, the audience didn't have to wait that long to watch this movie on their screens in the comfort of their homes, with the movie releasing on OTT just after a month after its theatrical release. If you've missed watching this biggie in theatres, catch it on your screens on the 2nd of June anytime post 12 am.
