Baahubali actor Rana Daggubati and entrepreneur Miheeka Bajaj are getting married on 8 August, 2020 in Hyderabad. Miheeka grabbed headlines when Rana announced that he was getting hitched, on 12 May this year. He posted a picture of the two on social media, along with the caption, “And she said Yes.” The couple celebrated their pre-wedding rituals amidst the lockdown.
While we all know actor, producer, and television personality, Rana Daggubati, who is the bride-to-be? Here’s all that you need to know.
Who is Miheeka Bajaj?
Born and brought up in Hyderabad, Miheeka Bajaj is the owner of a decor and event management company called Dewdrop Design Studio. She finished her diploma from Rachna Sansad, Mumbai in interior design and pursued her masters from Chelsea University of Art and Design in London.
Her interests in Indian architecture made her choose a career in interior design. She told You & I, “Décor is something I grew up seeing; it’s more or less etched in my subconscious. For a creative person there can’t be a better field of work to be involved in, because you get to move on to new projects in a very short span of time, thus getting to do something new and exciting very often.” Along with her own label, she runs a blog by the name of Pixie Dust.
NDTV reports that Miheeka’s parents, Bunty and Suresh Bajaj are the founders of a jewellery brand called Krsala jewels. Samarth, her brother, looks after the production and management of Krsala. Her sister-in-law, Sasha, is the sister of fashion designer, Kunal Rawal. Miheeka credits her mother for her success in life and wrote in an Instagram post, “Everything Dewdrop Design Studio is today is because of you.. thank you for always being my strength! A girl is nothing without her mother!”
Miheeka was a classmate of Rana Daggubati’s cousin Ashritha. Although they knew each other for many years, Rana and Miheeka were not in a relationship, reports India Today. However, in May Rana announced that he was getting married to Miheeka and the two families celebrated a traditional roka ceremony on 21 May. A haldi ceremony was celebrated at the bride’s place on 6 August, followed by mehendi.
