Priyanka Chopra Begins Shooting For Citadel, Shares Picture Of Warm Welcome On Set

The shoot of Citadel is likely to kick off in London as the actor had been there for the last few months.

Priyanka Chopra Citadel: Chopra has begun the shoot of her spy web series, Citadel, which will see the Bollywood actor and Richard Madden come together for the very first time.

Chopra shared a picture of herself from the sets of Citadel, holding a bunch of flowers. The actor has her eyes closed and smiles in the photo. Chopra thanked her team for the sweet, warm welcome. "Day 1 on #Citadel thank you team for a sweet welcome! Let’s goooooo!" she wrote. The shoot of Citadel is likely to kick off in London as the actor had been there for the last few months.

Backed by Amazon Studios, this action-packed series will be helmed by Avengers' Russo Brothers and fans have been in anticipation of the project to kick off.

Citadel announcement was made last year and left fans ecstatic. The action-packed spy series will be a 'multi-layered global franchise with interconnected local language productions from India, Italy, and Mexico'. The Family Man creators Raj & DK have been pulled in for productions from India. 

Priyanka Chopra recently released her memoir-Unfinished. In the book, Chopra has opened about the various events that she sailed through and the various co-stars who motivated her and gave some really important life lessons. She also said, “When I decided to write it, I was coming up to 20 years of being in the business. So I wanted to commemorate those 20 years of my life in entertainment and I kind of wanted to write something like letters to my younger self.”

Priyanka Chopra has dedicated the book Unfinished to her late father Dr Ashok Chopra. She also mentioned how his battle with cancer and death in 2013 was one of the darkest chapters of her life. Read more about it here.
