Who Is Piya Chakraborty? Actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay's Wife

Actor Parambrata Chattopadhyay popular for his part in Kahaani, confirmed his marriage to Piya Chakraborty in a recent Instagram post. He shared pictures from their private wedding ceremony on Monday, November 27, introducing his partner to fans and followers. The actor donned a rust-coloured kurta, paired with a green jacket and cream-coloured pyjamas, while Chakraborty adorned a red and white saree with a matching blouse and jewellery.

In the first picture, Piya Chakraborty wrote something while the actor looked at her affectionately. Both wore smiles as they sat on a couch at their home. In the second picture, both glanced behind the camera, sharing a laugh. The third picture captured the newlyweds sitting together, holding hands, and smiling at the camera. He posted the photos with a caption, "Let us go then, you and I When the evening is spread out against the sky… This is it."

Earlier, Piya Chakraborty was married to singer Anupam Roy. She is recognised as a mental health activist and singer. Although reports circulated about Parambrata and Piya dating, they never officially confirmed their relationship. In 2021, when Piya and Anupam went through a divorce, rumours suggested Piya's decision stemmed from her affection for Parambrata. However, the actor refuted these claims back then.

Parambrata Chattopadhyay made his Bollywood debut in 2012 with Kahaani, featuring Vidya Balan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. His notable works encompass Bhalo Theko, Baishe Srabon, Sold, Kadambari, Anukul, Ramprasad Ki Tehrvi, Dwitiyo Purush, and Doctor Bakshi. He garnered immense acclaim for his performance in the film. Subsequently, he featured alongside Anushka Sharma in Pari and Bulbbul.  also appeared in Aranyak alongside Raveena Tandon and was part of Mumbai Diaries Season 2.
