In response to Akshay Kumar's movie Oh My God 2 receiving an 'A' certificate from the censor board, Sadhguru, who had earlier praised the film, has shared his perspective on the matter. Kumar had arranged a special screening of OMG 2 for Sadhguru and other members of the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore.

OMG 2 has achieved a notable distinction as Akshay Kumar's first film in 12 years to obtain an 'A – Adults Only' certification. Sadhguru, in a recent tweet, conveyed his viewpoint on the issue. He highlighted the significance of including adolescents within the 'A' certificate category, underscoring the need for education on human biology and the responsible consideration of individual biological needs. Sadhguru stressed that such awareness contributes to building a just and equitable nation.

Akshay Kumar reacted to his tweet writing, "Thank you so much @SadhguruJV. Hope the message reaches far and wide, in the right spirit (sic)."

Following a significant period of anticipation, the trailer for OMG 2 made its debut last week. The film features Akshay Kumar in the role of a 'messenger of Shiva'. The film delves into the narrative of a father's unwavering battle to secure his son's access to education. Portraying the determined father is none other than Pankaj Tripathi, who brings his distinctive talent to the character.

The trailer commences with an invocation from Lord Shiva, directing his faithful Nandi to dispatch one of his messengers to assist Kanti Sharan Mudgal, portrayed by Pankaj Tripathi. Kanti's predicament arises from his son's expulsion from school due to an alleged 'indecent' incident. In a complex legal scenario, Kanti finds himself in the dual roles of both the defendant and the accuser as he takes the matter to court.

Within the courtroom, a clash of wills unfolds as Yami Gautam assumes the role of a lawyer, engaging in a spirited confrontation with Kanti. Amidst this legal battle, Shiva's chosen messenger emerges as a guiding force, steering Kanti towards the path of righteousness and enlightenment.

Directed by Amit Rai, OMG 2 is poised for a notable clash in the Bollywood arena as it goes head-to-head with Sunny Deol's forthcoming action-packed offering, Gadar 2. The spotlight has remained on OMG 2 ever since its initial poster and teaser were unveiled. Notably, numerous reports surfaced suggesting that the film encountered delays attributed to the censor board, which exercised an abundance of caution due to the film's religious theme.

OMG 2 stands as a sequel to the acclaimed film OMG: Oh My God, which featured the talents of Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. In the original production, Akshay Kumar took on the role of Lord Krishna.
