New Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser Has Appeared On YouTube

Stranger Things Season 4 Teaser: A new teaser of the Netflix sci-fi show has appeared on the Stranger Things official YouTube channel. Ardent fans of the show have started breaking down the teaser and are speculating how the story would progress in the upcoming season.

Netflix's Stranger Things follows the adventures of a group of young friends in the 1980s as they face off with supernatural forces and mysteries other-worldly phenomenons. The show enjoys a cult following worldwide.

Nearly two years after the release of Season 3, a video that seems to hint at Season 4 of Stranger Things has now been posted on the official YouTube channel.

The Stranger Things Season 4 teaser is titled “HNL Control Room” and features the Hawkins National Laboratory which makes up for a key location in the show's premise. The description of the video reads, “Due to technical difficulties, Hawkins National Laboratory will be closed until further notice. We will be back in service tomorrow at 9 a.m ET”.

In the one-minute and fifty seconds long teaser, a lot of suspense and questions are raised for the show’s fans. The teaser opens with an operatic song playing with a view of seven static television screens that go on and off.

Decorated with rainbows and chairs, a children’s playroom is first shown on one screen of the television. As the video goes on, scattered chess pieces on a chess table appear on the screen followed by a bloody ball and a floor covered entirely with blood. Regular viewers of the show will recognise the locations captured in the teaser.

Stranger Things stars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, Gaten Matarazzo as the main cast since Season 1. The original cast was joined by Caleb MacLaughlin and Sadie Sink from the second season. Written by Matt Duffer, Ross Duffer, and Jessie Nickson Lopez, the Netflix Original series has gained a lot of recognition and won many awards.

In August last year, actor Natalia Dyer, who stars as a key recurring character in the show said that the young cast of Stranger Things had been "over-sexualised in the media." Saying that she felt protective of the younger kids, Dyer added, "There are so many layers going on here,” she told The Independent about how her younger co-stars are treated by both the media and by fans. “I generally feel like, to me, it’s oversexualizing them.” Read more on that here.

The official release date for the long-awaited new season has not been announced as of yet.
