The wedding documentary of actors Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan titled Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale will be released on the over-the-top (OTT) streaming platform Netflix. The couple got married on June 9, 2022, at Mahabalipuram’s Sheraton Park.
A month after actor Nayanthara and actor and director Vignesh Shivan tied the knot, Netflix officially announced that a documentary about the couple and their wedding would be released on the streaming platform. It is set to chronicle the couple’s love story that resulted in the wedding which was attended by celebrities such as Rajnikanth, Jyothika, Shah Rukh Khan, Boney Kapoor, Atlee and Surya.
The teaser trailer for Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale was released on August 9 and gave the first look at the wedding documentary. The teaser contained a clip of Shivan speaking about his wife. He said, “As a woman, her nature and character is very inspiring and she is very beautiful inside and out”.
Netflix India shared the teaser trailer on social media and captioned it, “A magical documentary about the journey of the #LadySuperstar Nayanthara. Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale is coming soon to Netflix and we can’t wait to witness the magic.”
Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale is directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and produced by Rowdy Pictures. The production house is owned by Nayanthara and Shivan.
The couple have reportedly been dating for around seven years before they tied the knot. In 2015, they worked together on the Tamil film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. Shivan served as a director in the film and actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupati. They have been dating since they worked on the film together and were in a live-in relationship until their wedding.
Nayanthara will make her Bollywood debut in the film Jawan where she will star opposite Shah Rukh Khan.
Nayanthara Vignesh Shivan Wedding Documentary Release Date
Nayanthara: Beyond The Fairytale will be released on the OTT streaming platform Netflix. The release date for Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s wedding documentary has not been confirmed yet. The teaser trailer for the wedding documentary said that the documentary would release soon.
