Mouni Roy Suraj Nambiar Wedding: Couple Ties Knot In A South Indian Ceremony

The pictures of Mouni Roy Suraj Nambiar wedding ceremony have started trickling in. Nambiar is seen in pastel wedding colours while Roy wore a traditional white and red coloured saree with a broad kamarbandh. The wedding reportedly took place in Goa's W hotel.

The ceremonies for the wedding had begun yesterday in the presence of a limited number of guests and a few of Roy's close friends from the Hindi film industry. The actor and per partner Nambiar tied the knot today in a South Indian wedding ceremony and the couple chose a traditional look for the day.

Apart from the traditional saree, Roy wore gold bangles, a choker necklace, maang tika and floral accessories for the hair. While Nambiar wore a pastel brown colour kurta along with dhoti.

The picture of the couple's wedding was shared by Arjun Bijlani on social media. In the picture, Nambiar keeps looking at Roy and Bijlani captioned the picture, "Mr and Mrs Nambiar."

Reportedly, the couple is going to tie the knot again in the evening. But this time as per the Bengali rituals of marriage. Mouni Roy is Bengali. Post which, reportedly, they were going to have a grand reception for their friends in Mumbai but it was cancelled due to rising coronavirus Omicron cases.

Yesterday, Mandira Bedi posted a picture with the couple in yellow dresses and attire, all ready for the Haldi ceremony. She captioned the picture as, "Mon, Suraj..and so it all beings. I love you both, more than you know (emoji)."

The two got married to limited guests. Their guest list reportedly had 50 people and each was supposed to carry a negative RT-PCR test report to attend the wedding. All COVID-19 protocols will be followed.

Roy invited Bedi, Aashka Goradia, Ekta Kapoor, amongst others and since the guest list was limited to 50, not many of her industry friends reportedly made to the list of invitees.

The couple started dating in 2019. Nambiar is a Dubai-based businessman and the Director Head of Capital Markets in UAE. He studied investment science and International Management at Stanford University.
