With Made In Heaven Season 2's release on August 10, we can't wait but anticipate what's more in store for the audience.

Made In Heaven Season 2

While the show's trailer gave us a peek into what's coming, the makers of the show recently revealed that they're particularly focussing on societal issues that cloud women and LGBTQIA+ communities. Centred on the theme of Indian marriages, with Tara Khanna (Sobhita Dhulipala) and Karan Mehra (Arjun Mathur) helming their wedding planning company, the show grapples with deep-rooted societal issues featuring business expansions, financial tribulations and relationship complexities, and more.

With grand weddings comes grander drama, and the makers are spotlighting some serious issues that Indian society deals with even today. From the oppression of LGBTQIA+ to day-to-day stigmas women deal with, the show will cover it all.

At the trailer launch of the show, Zoya Akhtar revealed that the Prime Video series this time is shown through the lens of women and the LGBTQIA+ community. It will be interesting to see how the show pans out and what we take away from it given that every wedding episode features an interesting storyline and character evaluation. The audience is also looking forward to another addition to the cast, Trans woman Dr Trinetra Haldar Gummaraju, whose life story is an inspirational tale in itself.

Reema Kagti commented on how they are "obsessed" with exploring female experiences of women in a society like ours which is deeply rooted in culture yet rapidly changing and modernising.

Akhtar also talked about the central characters of the show Tara Khanna and Karan Mehra stating how the duo will have a strong moral compass this season while they will also be non-conformists and quite grey. The seven-episode-long season 2 is helmed by Reema Kagati and Zoya Akhtar along with Alankrita Shrivastava, Neeraj Ghaywan, and Nitya Mehra.

The show has added more people to its stellar cast by including Mona Singh, Dr Trinetra Haldar, Radhika Apte, Mrunal Thakur, and Ishwaq Singh, among others.

The show is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Videos on August 10. Do not miss out on this one!
