Kriti Sanon's first venture as a producer, Do Patti, features Kajol and Kriti herself in the lead roles. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh's report confirms that television actor Shaheer Sheikh has also been cast in the film, sharing the screen with the two leading actors.
The movie commenced filming in August. It is under the direction of ad filmmaker Shashanka Chaturvedi. Screenwriter Kanika Dhillon, who is also a co-producer of the film, is credited with writing the screenplay. Taran Adarsh shared these details on his Instagram.
While announcing the project, Sanon posted a few images where she was seen gesturing with victory signs. She also shared another picture, this time alongside her parents, expressing her enthusiasm for the project. She wrote, “DO PATTI begins...!This is ready to flyyyyyy! Need all your love and blessings!”

Kriti Sanon Announces Film Do Patti
Kriti Sanon will reunite with Kajol after eight years for a mystery thriller titled, Do Patti. Do Patti seem to be a thriller-suspense set in the hills of northern India. The film has its actor and producer but the director for the film is yet not revealed.
Kajol and Kriti Sanon will lead the cast of Netflix India’s mystery thriller original film Do Patti. Sanon with Kajol was last seen in the 2015 release film Dilwale. Kajol's presence on OTT has been remarkable. With projects like Tribhanga, she has delivered a solid performance. Her recent release Lust Stories 2 also created a huge impact on the audience.
In a report by Variety, Kajol said that she is thrilled to team up with Netflix once again this time for an exhilarating ride that is Do Patti. Further added that Do Patti has a standout script that promises a unique blend of adventure and mystery.
For Sanon, Do Patti holds a very special place as it marks her debut as a producer under the production house Blue Butterfly Films. She added that she loves every single aspect of filmmaking and always wanted to be more creatively involved in stories.
Kanika Dhillon's recent film was the 2021 mystery drama Haseen Dillruba, other than that films like Guilty, and Manmarziyaan are to her credit. For Kriti Sanon, it has been a good time with back-to-back releases including, Bhediya, Shehzada, and Adipurush.
