The upcoming film 14 Phere starring the Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana actor Kriti Kharbanda and Mirzapur fame Vikrant Massey will be out on the OTT platform Zee5 in the month of July.
14 Phere is a social comedy-drama film. It is a movie about two weddings as suggested in the title itself. The movie stars Gauahar Khan, Vinay Pathak, Yamini Das, and Vineet Kumar. It started its shooting on November 26 2020 and completed it in January 2021. The movie would release in July 2021. Vikrant Massey has described the movie as, "an incredibly funny love story." According to reports, Vikrant Massey plays the role of a North Indian small-town boy named Sanjay. On the other hand, Kharbanda is an outgoing and independent woman named Aditi.
Zee Studios said about the film 14 Phere that it is an important movie that captures the heart and heartland of India. They further added that the movie is a blend of quirky, contemporary, emotional and relevant emotions in one film. Zee Studios also explained that 14 Phere highlights how weddings, most often, happen between two families, not just two people.
The Zee Studios spokesperson told media, "We needed a fresh, new pairing and we couldn’t have been happier to have Vikrant and Kriti on board!"
The movie is directed by Devanshu Singh. It is produced under the banner of Zee Studios. It has been shot in locations like Lucknow, Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai.
Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey will be pairing up in a movie for the first time.
Massey has starred in multiple movies as supporting roles like Half Girlfriend, Dil Dhadakne Do, Lootera and more. He played the protagonist in the movie A Death in the Gunj against actor Konkana Sen Sharma. He also played a role in the acid attack survivor film Chhapaak with actor Deepika Padukone. Further, he will also be seen in the Taapsee Pannu starter Haseen Dillruba.
