Kiara Advani Talks About The 'Creepy Comments' on Her Leaf Photoshoot

Kiara Advani Leaf photoshoot: The Shershaah actor opened up about being called arrogant during her appearance on a new episode of Arbaaz Khan's show Pinch Season 2. Advani also spoke about the leaf photograph which was shot for Dabboo Ratnani.

When Kiara Advani appeared on Pinch (season 2), the host Arbaaz Khan read out certain comments on her much talked about topless shoot behind a big leaf for photographer Dabboo Ratnani. A user said that "this was the only good thing in 2020" to which Kiara replied, "I will take that as a compliment." Another person said he wishes "a goat would eat the leaf" and Kiara responded with "eww" to which Arbaaz inquired what had happened and Kiara said, "Mughe Khud pata nahi yeh kaha se kaha gaya (I don't know how it escalated). It was Dabboo... He came up with this leafy concept. It was aesthetically shot."

Kiara Advani was heavily trolled for posing topless with just a giant leaf covering her torso in Dabboo Ratnani's yearly calendar. Kiara claimed that weeks after the photo went viral, there were many memes and she enjoyed them, but she did not want all the suggestive messages that she received on social media. Ratnani also got trolled for the picture, however, things for Kiara do not seem to be getting over as she continues to get trolled for that photograph.

Advani further spoke about trolling and protecting her family  to Khan. She said, "I have cousins who are younger, they're on social media and sometimes I worry about them. I refrain from posting their birthday pictures on my handle."

Following the episode's shoot, Kiara Advani was termed arrogant in the comments on social media as she was in a hurry and could not stop to pose for the paparazzi. Kiara claims that, "I stood for a second, posed for them, they got the shot, but I was also thinking that I was getting late and I am making somebody wait. So, in the comment section people started saying that I've become arrogant and could not pose for pictures, but what you see is not the whole truth, and you can't make everyone happy... let's respect everybody's personal space and not jump to such conclusions."

Kiara Advani was recently seen on-screen starring in war drama Shershaah along with Sidharth Malhotra. She will be next seen in the upcoming horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee. It stars Tabu and Kartik Aaryan as well.
