Keerthy Suresh Named "Most Tweeted About" Southern Female Superstar

The micro-blogging site Twitter has named actors Keerthy Suresh as the "Most Tweeted About" female superstar from South Indian film Industry. Twitter India recently released the list for 10 most tweeted about female and male southern film superstars for the year 2020, in which Suresh and actor Mahesh Babu came out on the top.

Apart from Suresh, other actresses to feature on Twitter India's list are Taapsee Pannu, Kajal Aggarwal, Tamannaah, Rakul Preet Singh, Samantha Akkineni, Rashmika Mandanna, Pooja Hegde, Shruti Haasan and Trisha Krishnan.

Likewise, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan Teja, Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Vijay, Jr NTR (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao), Suriya, Mohanlal, and Dhanush made it to the list of Top 10 Most Tweeted About South Film Actors in 2020 alongside Mahesh Babu.

Who is Keerthy Suresh?

28-year old Keerthy Suresh has appeared in a number of Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. She is the daughter of Malayalam film producer G Suresh Kumar and multi-lingual actress Menaka. As a child artist, she worked in several films like Pilots, Achaneyanenikkishtam, Kuberan, and certain television serials. She made her debut as a lead actor with horror film Geethanjali. Keerthy won the 2019 National Film Awards in Best Actress category for her portrayal of yesteryear actress Savithri in Mahanati. She enjoys a huge following on social media, with over 3.4 million and 7.2 million followers on Twitter and Instagram respectively.

Keerthy Suresh and Mahesh Babu in Sarkaru Vaari Paata

Both the Top Most Tweeted About Superstars will star together in director Parasuram's upcoming Telugu project Sarkaru Vaari Paata. This is the first time the pair will be seen together sharing the screen. The shooting of the film will begin in January 2021.
