What's the controversy about?

Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan is facing threats of boycott on social media after rumours began to do rounds that she was being cast in the role of Sita in an upcoming film and was asking fee of 12 crore rupees for the project. While there has been no confirmation about the said film or its supposed casting, Khan was trolled through the weekend for demanding such a high fees to play such a "revered" character.

The film is reportedly being directed by Alaukik Desai and actor Ranveer Singh has reportedly been approached for the role of Ravan in the film. Check out why trolls love to target Kareena Kapoor Khan here.
