Jalsa with two powerhouse actors Vidya Balan And Shefali Shah has dropped its trailer today. The film will have a direct on OTT release. The first look of the film featuring Shefali Shah and Balan was released a few days back.
The around 2-minute long trailer creates suspense about the story. The setting of the film is dark and gives a sense of a cat and mouse chase going on.
The official synopsis of the show says, "A hit and run of an 18-year-old girl becomes the hub of a wheel that sets into motion many a spoke - a journalist, a raging mother, a cop and a system all caught in an ethical dilemma. Questions raised only to realize that the truth is rarely pure and never simple."
The film also stars Rohini Hattangadi, Surya Kasibhatla, Manav Kaul, Kashish Rizwan, Shafeen Patel, Vidhatri Bandi, Mohammad Iqbal Khan, Ghanshyam Lalsa, Shrikant Mohan Yadav, Junaid Khan.
The film is directed by Suresh Triveni. This will be Balan's second time for the actor-director duo after the film Tumhari Sulu. Manav Kaul, who was recently seen in Fame Game opposite Madhuri Dixit is also part of the film. He earlier played Balan's husband in Tumhari Sulu.

Jalsa Trailer Released
Balan plays the role of a popular journalist, Maya, and Shefali Shah plays Ruksana, a cook at Maya’s house. Earlier in a poster shared by Balan and Shah on Instagram the actors are seen with their backs together and a snapshot of a car covering Balan's mouth and Shah's eyes.
The film, which is an original by Amazon Prime is scheduled to have a global premiere on March 18. It is jointly produced by Triveni, Bhushan Kumar and Krishna Kumar of T-Series along with Vikram Malhotra and Shikhaa Sharma of Abundantia Entertainment.
