The veteran actor earlier famous for the role of naïve and delightful Hansa in popular television show Khichdi stunned the audience when she was seen holding the ropes in Ram Leela, a film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Vidya Balan

In 2017 film Begum Jaan, Balan played the lead role of a woman who runs a brothel and doesn’t get pushed over by any man. Shraddha Kapoor
