As the excitement around the third season of the series, Inside Edge increases, the streaming platform has released the trailer of the show on cricket, betting and revenge, starring Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi and others.

The trailer throws a glimpse at the politics around the game, power-hungry individuals and talks about legalising betting in cricket. Set around the premise of an Indian-Pakistan cricket match, the struggle unfolds as each individual has an interest of their own. Bruises, car on fire, cash exchange and talks of revenge occupy the trailer of Inside Edge Season 3.
The show first premiered in 2017 and since then has been creating buzz for its plotline, camera work and ensemble cast. Season two of the show ended with the team Mumbai Mavericks getting a two-year ban from competition after the owners were caught in match-fixing and illegal betting. Mantra Patil, played by Sapna Pabbi was sent to jail while Zarina Malik, played by Richa Chadha and Vikrant Dhawan, played by Vivek Oberoi get on a plane together, suggesting an alliance.
In an interview, Karan Anshuman, the creator of the show, said, "With Inside Edge, the intent has always been to level up from where we left last season and offer a narrative speckled with newer story arcs, characters and oddities that would intrigue the viewers."
Inside Edge Season 3 Trailer: Know The Plot
Inside Edge revolves around a cricket team called Mumbai Mavericks and how the owner, Zarina Malik fights for the top boss' chair of the cricket association amidst doping, illegal betting and political banters. In season 3 of the show, the plot revolves around legalisation of betting in cricket. The reason given is that betting will take place, legalisation of it may lead to a check on black money.
A parallel but connected plot to this is the story of Vayu played by Tarun Virwani who will go to any length to become the captain of the team. This season will be about whether the alliance continued and what happened hereafter.

The show is created by Karan Anshuman and directed by Kanishk Varma. Along with Amazon Prime as the streaming platform, the show is produced by Excel Entertainment under Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani.
The ensemble cast includes Richa Chadha, Vivek Oberoi, Tarun Virani, Sapna Pabbi, Sayani Gupta, Aamir Bashir and others.
Release Date
The show is going to release on Amazon Prime Video on December 3 this year.
