Releasing on OTT
Dhamaka is a Kartik Aaryan starrer film where he plays the role of a a TV news channel anchor. Ram Madhvani has directed the film. The film also features Mrunal Thakur as his wife and Amruta Subhash as the head of Bharosa Television Channel that Kartik works for. It is a sartorial take on state of journalism in India. Interestingly, the film has reportedly been shot during the COVID-19 pandemic in just 10 days. The film is scheduled to release on Netlfix on November 19 this year.
The film, set in Tamil culture, is directed by Vivek Soni and it is the story of a couple in a long-distance marriage. While Meenakshi lives with her in-laws in Madurai, her husband moves to Bangalore after he secures a job there. they try to make their marriage work through conversations and constant connectivity but whether things eventually work out or not is something one can find out only after watching the film. It will have a Diwali release on OTT platform Netflix on November 5.
Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar is all set to release in theatres on Diwali on November 5. Kumar will be seen portraying the role of Deputy Superintendent of Police, the chief of the Anti-Terrorism Squad around whom the movie revolves around. Katrina Kaif, on the other hand, will essay the role of his love interest. The movie also stars Ranveer Singh and Ajay Devgn. It is directed by Rohit Shetty.
Bunty Aur Babli 2
It is an upcoming Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee starrer film that also includes actors like Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh. Directed by Varun V Sharma, it is set to drop in theatres on November 19. The trailer that released on October 25 shows how Khan and Mukherjee have given up conning and are leading a simple life in Fursatgunj but a lot of confusion in their lives arise when they realise that newbies posing themselves as Bunty Aur Babli are back.
Based on the life of real-life soldier Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the film Major will narrate how this war hero saved the lives of hostages before he was martyred during the terrorist attack at the Taj Mahal Palace hotel that took place in Mumbai on November 26, 2008. It has been shot in both Telugu and Hindi simultaneously. The movie also stars actors Adivi Sesh and Shobita Dhulipala. The film is expected to the screens in November this year.
Satyameva Jayate 2
Satyameva Jayate 2 is the sequel to the 2018 film Satyameva Jayate. It features actor John Abrahm in triple roles. In the trailer, he is seen smashing skulls and coconuts with his bare hands. He also stops a vehicle from moving by holding on to it. The trailer features director-actor Divya Khosla Kumar opposite him. Anup Soni and Sahil Vaid also appear in pivotal roles. The movie will hit the theatres on November 25.
Antim: The Final Truth
The film starring Salman Khan, Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makwana in the lead roles is an action thriller film based on the 2018 Marathi film Mulshi Pattern. It is directed by Mahesh Manjrekar and produced by Salman Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films. It is slated for a theatrical release on 26 November 2021.
No Means No
This is an upcoming Indo-Polish romantic thriller film scheduled for a release on 5 November on Diwali. It stars actors including Dhruv Verma, Gulshan Grover, Sharad Kapoor and Anna Guzik. The film revolves around the life of an Indian ski champion who falls in love with a Polish girl while participating in a ski championship in Poland.
