Franka Potente reaction to Looop Lapeta is making buzz on the internet. Taapsee Pannu shared a special video message for the Looop Lapeta crew from the actor who starred in the hit German film Run Lola Run in 1998. Looop Lapeta is inspired by the German film.
On the day of her film release, Pannu received a very unique wish for her new film, Looop Lapeta. Franka Potente, the star of Run Lola Run, the official version of which Looop Lapeta is a remake, delivered a video message to Taapsee and the film’s production crew.
Franka Potente and Moritz Bleibtreu were the actors in the film Run Lola Run, whose story revolves around a woman named Lola (played by Potente) who has 20 minutes to collect 100,000 Deutschmarks in order to save her boyfriend Manni’s life. It was well-received by critics and has since gained cult status among moviegoers.

Franka Potente who is an actor from Germany made her movie debut in the comedy film After Five in the Forest Primeval (1995), for which she received a Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Female Actor. Her breakthrough came in 1998, when she won a BAMBI Award for Best Female Actor for her performance as the main character in the critically acclaimed action film Run Lola Run.

The 47-year-old actor stated in the 22-second video that it’s exciting to witness a recreation of her picture after all these years. She wished Pannu well and expressed her eagerness to see the film.
“I am honoured. I think it’s really cool so I just wanted to wish you good luck,” she said in the video.
Thanking Potente, Pannu wrote, “This makes it special looooooop number of times. It’s launch day for #LooopLapeta & here we have the OG Savi, loooped along to win our hearts.”
Sony Pictures Films India, as well as Tanuj Garg and Kasbekar’s Ellipsis Entertainment and Aayush Maheshwari, have produced the film. Songs created by Sidhant Mago, Mayank Mehra, Santanu Ghatak, Rahul Pais, and Nariman Khambata appear on the film’s soundtrack, with lyrics penned by Sidhant Mago, Santanu Ghatak, and Siddhant Kaushal. Rahul Pais and Nariman Khambata composed the music for the background score (The Jamroom).
Looop Lapeta started to stream on Netflix on February 4.
