Gehraiyaan, an upcoming film which delves into complex modern relationships stars Deepika Padukone as Alisha, Dhairya Karwa as her boyfriend, Ananya Panday as her cousin Tia and Siddhant as Tia's fiance Zain. Gehraiyaan's title track "Doobey" releases today.
Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturvedi's song showcases their strong chemistry. The song is sung by Lothika and penned by Kausar Munir, it has been composed by OAFF and Savera. The song bringsout the essence of youth and Lothika's vocals are intriguingly adding freshness and intensity to the track.
Gehraiyaan Title Track Releases Today
Doobey is a remake of the original song by OAFF titled "Frontline".
Musician Kabeer Kathpalia stated, “It was an incredible experience to work on this film and its music. The adoration that we have been receiving since the first teaser, has been extremely special and humbling. With Dooley, we wanted to recreate the feeling of freefalling; the heady rush of a new relationship, of being in love. Gehraiyaan is truly a special album for each of us and we’re hoping the audience enjoys listening to it as much as we enjoyed creating it.”

'Frontline' was written three years ago by Lothika, the singer who sang Frontline, and by OAFF. During the creation of the song, Lothika's grandmother had just passed away and she was in Bombay deciding to make a song with OAFF as it was a form of therapy for them.
Starring Ananya Panday, Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone Gehraiyaan dropped trailer released on January 21. The movie is releasing on Amazon Prime Video this Valentine’s Day.
“I think usually I feel women are stereotyped in films. Either they are the bitch, the badass or bechari. Within those they will find some complexity but it is usually one of the three or a combination of those,” Ananya Panday said in an exclusive interview with SheThePeople.
