Gaur Khan who is also a brand ambassador of a Lucknow-based real estate company named Tulsiani Group, was reportedly served the ED notice on Tuesday (December 19). Reports suggest that the company is under suspicion for swindling Rs 30 crore from investors and banks.

The Enforcement Directorate is purportedly investigating financial aspects connected to Khan. Investigators are seeking details regarding the contracts outlining her position within the company and other relevant documentation.

ED Accuses Gauri Khan Of Embezzling Rs 30 Crore: Fact or Fiction?

However, as per the recent update by Free Press Journal, it has been clarified that Gauri Khan has not been served any summons by the ED, and there is no association between her and the embezzlement case. As of now, she has not issued a response to the notice.

According to a Free Press Journal report, Kirit Jaswant Shah, a Mumbai-based individual, purchased a flat worth Rs 85 lakh in the Sushant Golf City project by the Tulsiani Group in Lucknow back in 2015. However, Shah encountered an issue as he did not receive possession of the flat, and his investment was not refunded. Consequently, Shah lodged a complaint against the Tulsiani Group's directors - Anil Kumar Tulsiani, Mahesh Tulsiani, and the brand ambassador Gauri Khan.

In March 2023, Shah took the step of filing a First Information Report (FIR) against these three individuals. In his complaint, Shah detailed, "I visited the company’s office in Sushant Golf City the same year and met its directors and agreed to buy a flat worth Rs 86 lakh. I was assured that I would get the flat’s possession in 2016. But since then a lot of time has elapsed and I have not got the flat. Later, I found out that the agreement of the flat booked by me had been transferred by the company to somebody else."
