Female Cops In Webseries
Gauahar Khan is the star of the upcoming original online series Shiksha Mandal. This social thriller is based on true events and exposes the corruption, fraud, cheating, and criminal conspiracy that harm India’s most vulnerable children. Khan plays a police officer in Shiksha Mandal and adds, “I am happy to be a part of Shiksha Mandal, and it’s my first time as a cop. I sincerely hope I can uphold the demanding responsibilities I have been given.” Viewers will be able to watch it from September 15 onwards only on MX Player.
Delhi Crime, a well-liked show, is the first Indian drama to ever win Outstanding Drama Series at the International Emmy Awards 2020. The first season of the two-season series takes place in the days following the 2012 Delhi gang rape. The Chaddi Baniyan Gang is the main subject of season two. In the aftermath of the crime, where Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vartika Chaturvedi is tasked with identifying the perpetrators, the story is carried out in both seasons. The goal, according to Chaturvedi’s actor Shefali Shah, was to show police officers in a humane light rather than portraying them as “super cops,” as is customary in mainstream cinema.
In the drama Delhi Crime, actor Rasika Dugal also portrayed a police officer, Neeti Singh. She revealed how she trained to play Neeti Singh, saying, “I had requested from the team that I shadow an officer in season 1 to obtain more information and specifics about being a police officer. I shadowed a trainee police officer then, and I got in touch with her again for the second season.”

Aranyak is a crime thriller web series that centres on Kasturi Dogra, a female police officer in the town of Sironah in the hills, who is getting ready to take a year off work to care for her family. But Kasturi returns to her position, unable to allow the first significant case in a long time to escape her control.
Raveena Tandon, who played Kasturi Dogra, said that “in contrast to Delhi Crime, the female cop I play in Aranyak is a fictional character, allowing me to give it my own spin. Kasturi Dogra is all of those things, and it was a pleasure to play her. Strong female characters who are bright, motivated, ambitious, and go-getters have always appealed to me.”
She is a crime thriller that tells the tale of a female cop who goes undercover to take down a gang. The idea behind the two-season show was that a woman’s body can operate effectively to manage her circumstances. According to Aaditi Pohankar, it was really difficult for her to portray officer Bhumika Pardeshi in the series She. Pohankar can be seen playing both a covert officer and a seductress, and she claims that giving this part her absolute best was emotionally draining.
