This festive month, Amazon-Prime-Video is bringing some banger web series full of action, dark love drama, supernatural fantasies, superheroes, and action crime dramas that will fit everyone's preferred genre.

Here is a curated list of September show releases on Amazon Prime Video.

1) Wilderness

In the backdrop of Taylor Swift's darkest song Look What You Made Me Do the trailer follows the chilling gruesome love tale that drastically takes an awry turn when a couple's happily-ever-after quickly spiralled into a tale of a nightmare as the two are caught up in an affair drama and vengeance.

The series is based on the novel of the same name by B.E. Jones. It stars Mia Goth and Logan Marshall-Green as Liv and Will, a couple who go on a camping trip to try to save their marriage. However, things take a dark turn when Liv discovers that Will has been having an affair.

Release Date: September 15

2) Bambai Meri Jaan

Bambai Meri Jaan is a 10-episode gripping gangster thriller series set in post-independence India under the backdrop of the Bombay gangsters in 70s and follows the story of an honest cop, Ismail (Kay Kay Menon), who is determined to clean up the streets of Mumbai from crime and corruption while his son Dadra Kadri (Avinash Tiwari) turns into a rising gangster aspiring to rule over Bombay's gangster world.

Produced by Farhan Akhtar under the banner of Excel Media and Entertainment the series stars Kritika Kamra, Amyra Dastur, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Saurabh Sachdeva, Nawab Shah and many more. Avinash Tiwari will once again be seen in a dark role after receiving appreciation for his role in Netflix's series Khakee while the series will follow chronicles of the rise of the underworld in Bombay with the classic good vs evil fight.

Release Date: September 14

3) Gen V

The makers of The Boys are coming up with the Spin-off of one of the most popular series on Amazon Prime Video. Gen V is once again following the theme of a dark and twisted take on superheroes. The series is set in Godolkin University, the prestigious superhero-only college where students train to be the next generation of heroes—preferably with lucrative endorsements. This reminded me a little of Netflix's show The Umbrella Academy.

The show is described as a "ribald college comedy" that will explore the lives of hormonal, competitive superheroes as they put their physical, sexual, and moral boundaries to the test. It will also delve into the dark secrets of Godolkin University and the corrupt world of Vought International.

If you are a fan of The Boys, then you will definitely want to check out Gen V. It looks like it will be a hilarious and irreverent take on the superhero genre with gruesome scenes, dark satirical comedy, and a great fighting sequence.

Release Date: September 29

4) The Continental: From the World of John Wick

This action-thriller series is a prequel to the John Wick film series and will explore the origins of the Continental, the hotel for assassins that is a central location in the films. It is about a global network of assassins that shelters hitmen and criminals from the darkest worlds and is a ground for the underworld.

The series stars Colin Woodell as a young Winston Scott, who is the future owner of the Continental. The cast also includes Mel Gibson, Ayomide Adegun, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Jessica Henwick, Shamier Anderson, and Peter Stormare.

The series is directed by Albert Hughes and Charlotte Brandstrom. And is written by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward, Albert Hughes, Iain Smith, and Marshall Persinger. It is produced by Thunder Road Pictures, 87North Productions, and Lionsgate Television.

5) Dirty Linen

This 12-episode mystery crime drama Phillipino series follows the story of a renowned family with complex characters and redemption. This is a family of criminals who are forced to go on the run after a botched robbery. With a suspenseful plot, well-developed characters, beautiful cinematography and keeping glued to the screens story that already received 7.8 IMDB ratings by the first 100 watchers.

With critically acclaimed performances, the show is directed by Irene Villamor and written by Veronica Velasco.
