Yami Gautam has begun filming for her upcoming thriller A Thursday. The Vicky Donor starrer actress shared her first look from the film on her Instagram handle along with a caption.

In A Thursday, Yami Gautam is a playschool teacher who takes 16 children as hostages. Neha Dhupia, Maya Sarao, Atul Kulkarni, and Dimple Kapadia also star in the film. Yami Gautam's first look from the upcoming thriller A Thursday has been out.

On Instagram, Yami posted the first photo of her character Naina Jaiswal, as well as a behind-the-scenes photo. “The Mastermind,” she wrote. “Naina Jaiswal in #AThursday,” she captioned her photo.

The director of the film, Behzad Khambata, previously quoted, “I have never seen her portray an unhinged, pretty much crazy character. I was thrilled when she agreed to do this film. So now the excitement is brewing and can`t wait to be back on a film set.”

According to a report, Yami Gautam and Neha Dhupia began filming for A Thursday some days back. The makers unveiled the first look of Neha Dhupia, who plays a cop in the film, earlier this month.

Yami Gautam will soon be seen in Bhoot Police, that is also featuring Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Saif Ali Khan, in apart from A Thursday. She will also star opposite Abhishek Bachchan in the film Dasvi. Gautam along with Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur starrer social comedy Dasvi has already been started filming in a full swing.

Yami Gautam was last seen with Vikrant Massey in the Netflix release Ginny Weds Sunny.
