Meet The Female Cast Of Trilingual Wildlife Drama Kaadan

Kaadan: Rana Daggubati-starrer Kaadan came out with its trailer earlier this month and has been creating a lot of buzz on social media.

The trailer was recently shared by actor Surya on Twitter. He praised Daggubati for the promo of the movie and sent him best wishes. Surya wrote, "This looks terrific, brother!! Best wishes!! #Kaadan in theatres from March 26 #5DAYSTOGO!"

The film Kaadan is about the relationship between man and the forest. The name of the film literally translates to 'Forester'. Daggubati as the male lead of the film has played the role of Bandev who shares a special bond with the elephants in the forest which under manmade threat. The film is going to narrate what goes behind the scenes when the government decides to uproot a forest to build a township over it.

The film was initially scheduled to release in April but the date got moved up to March 26. Prabhu Solomon is going to direct the movie and has also written the screenplay of the script. Along with Rana Daggubati, the film also stars Shriya Pilgaonkar and Zoya Hussain in significant roles. As the film is going to release in three languages, Kaadan in Tamil, Aaranya in Telugu and Haathi Mere Saathi in Hindi. Pulkit Samrat is going to star in the film's Hindi version while Vishnu Vishal will be seen in only Telugu and Tamil versions.

As per the trailer of the film, Shriya Pilgaonkar is playing the role of a journalist named Arundhati. Although she is only seen near the end of the trailer when she is chasing Daggubati for a quote. Pilgaonkar can be assumed to be helping in the media coverage of deforestation and the political and social dynamics at the heart of the story.

Zoya Hussain:

Zoya Hussain is seen wearing khakis and is seemingly very protective of the forest like the male lead Daggubati. She holds the rifle in her hands and is at the forefront of protecting the forest from the manmade horrors.  Before starring in Kaadan, Hussain has been known for her role in Mukkabaz in which she played the role of Sunaina Mishra.
