Here’s All You Need To Know About Upcoming Sports Drama Toofaan

Toofan Movie: As the sports drama film, Toofaan’s teaser released, here are all the details you need to know about the movie:

The first look of the actors Farhan Akhar and Mrunal Thakur was released recently. The film releasing on the digital platform of Amazon Prime. Further, it is also said that Paresh Rawal is in an important supporting role in the film.

Toofaan is directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The story revolves around the life of the protagonist who is a national-level boxer played by Farhan Akhtar. According to a report by ANI, the director Mehra said that his upcoming film will motivate people to get out of their comfort zones and fight for their dreams.

This movie is going to be Akhtar’s second sports film after the movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag released in 2013. Toofaan was all set to release on 18 September 2020, but this got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Now, the latest release date is said to be 12 May,2021.

Mrunal Thakur has recently released her first look in the upcoming action-packed movie, Toofaan. Besides Toofan, Mrunal will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in the upcoming sports drama Jersey.

In the teaser, we get to see Farhan’s character’s transformation from Ajju Bhai to Aziz Ali, the boxer. And looks like Mrunal Thakur’s character is behind this successful transformation. The intense sports drama also features Paresh Rawal who plays the role of Farhan’s coach.

Apart from Farhan and Mrunal, the sports drama also stars Paresh Rawal, Supriya Pathak Kapur, Hussain Dalal, Dr.Mohan Agashe, and Darshan Kumaar. The film is being produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, and Farhan Akhtar. Check out the teaser here
