'He's Recovering': Hema Malini, Esha Deol Deny Rumours On Dharmendra's Death

As reports of veteran actor Dharmendra's alleged death spread like wildfire, his wife Hema Malini and daughter Esha Deol quickly dismissed the false reports on November 11. "My father is stable and recovering. We request everyone to give our family privacy," Esha wrote on Instagram, condemning media portals for publishing unverified news. 

Meanwhile, Hema Malini said on X, "What is happening is unforgivable! How can responsible channels spread false news about a person who is responding to treatment and is recovering? This is being extremely disrespectful and irresponsible. Please give due respect to the family and its need for privacy."

Dharmendra health update

The previous night, Hema urged her followers to pray for Dharmendra's health. The actress-politician wrote, "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji, who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery."

Dharmendra, 89, has been in and out of Mumbai's Breach Candy hospital for several days. Several rumours about his condition have been doing the rounds online. According to a report in NDTV, a source close to the family said that Dharmendra remains serious. Son Sunny Deol's team dismissed claims that the veteran actor was on ventilator.

According to reports, Hema, Sunny, and Esha are at the hospital to be with Dharmendra. Actors Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan called on the family at the hospital. Actor Govinda was also spotted visiting the hospital.
