Devoleena Bhattacharjee shares childhood struggles, opens up on losing her father when she was eleven: In Wednesday’s episode of the reality show, Bigg Boss 14, television star Devoleena Bhattacharjee opened up about her childhood struggles. During a conversation with Rakhi Sawant, Bhattacharjee revealed that she lost her father at an early age, further dwelling into how society treated her family because of that.

While talking about her childhood struggles, Bhattacharjee said that she was 11 years old when she lost her father. “My mother would go to office even when she was unwell. She would cook food for us, and we went to school,” Bhattacharjee said.

In the same episode, Rakhi Sawant alleged that her husband, Ritesh, was already married and had a child when Sawant got married to him in 2019. She also revealed that a friend forced himself on her after helping her financially for her mother’s treatment.

Who is Devoleena Bhattacharjee

Devoleena Bhattacharjee shot to fame with her role as Gopi Bahu in the serial Saath Nibhana Saathiya. She was a contestant in Bigg Boss 13 as well, but she made an exit due to medical reasons. Bhattacharjee has a history of back pain, which escalated after one of her co-contestants in the show swung her while dancing.

After her exit from the show, director and producer Vikas Gupta entered the Bigg Boss 13 house as a proxy. She was to return to the show after her recovery, but doctors advised her to rest. Recently she was in news for speaking up for her friend and actor Divya Bhatnagar who allegedly was a subjected to domestic violence by her husband.
