Devoleena Bhattacharjee To Join BigBoss 14, In Place Of Vikas Gupta

Actor Devoleena Bhattacharjee the household name Indian television is all set to join the current season of the reality show Bigboss 14. The actor has also been part of the last season of the show but had to quit because of a medical emergency.

According to a report, the makers of the show reached out to Devoleena after a contestant named Vikas Gupta left the show. To which the actor agreed and has now been quarantined in a hotel before she enters the bigboss house. "we approached Devoleena after Vikas' exist and she was happy to come on-board. As of now, the plan is to divide her quarantine time between the hotel and the secret room, " a source linked to the show told TOI.

As per the show's procedure, every contestant has to quarantine for some time before they join the show contestants. this is done to prevent COVID-19 infections. The aforementioned secret room is where contestants are kept alone while they can watch other contestants but the contestants of the show are unaware of it.

The source also said that Devoleena will be shifted to the secret room Monday onwards from where she can observe the game and strategies of other contestants. After her quarantine period gets over, she will finally join the contestants and participate in the reality show. "Everything was finalised in a jiffy and we are looking forward to her stint in the show, " the source added.
