Iconic 90s Girl Group Destiny's Child Reunites At Beyoncé's Show

Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams came back as Destiny's Child for the final show of Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour. They last performed together at the 2018 Coachella festival.

Beyoncé pulled the curtain on her Cowboy Carter tour on July 26 in Las Vegas. As iconic as her three-month roadshow was, nothing could have prepared fans for the moment that truly broke the internet: "Destiny's Child, bi**h!" as 'Queen B' put it. Beyoncé welcomed her former groupmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, on stage to perform some of their best 2000s anthems, including Bootylicious and Lose My Breath. The trio reunited for the first time in seven years.

Destiny's Child reunion

The Destiny's Child ladies shimmered in gold, commanding the stage with the same fierce and magnetic energy that made them global icons. They also performed Beyoncé's hit song Energy from the Renaissance album (also known as Act II: Renaissance). The crowd was taken back in time as the trio delivered flawless harmonies and tight choreography.

Cowboy Carter tour

Destiny's Child last performed together at the 2018 Coachella festival, when Beyoncé made history as the first Black artist to headline the music festival. The festival was dubbed 'Beychella'. Beyoncé kicked off her Cowboy Carter tour in late April this year, taking her Grammy-awarded album across the United States and Europe in 32 shows.

Beyoncé's 13-year-old daughter, dancer and singer Blue Ivy Carter, also drew massive attention this year as she accompanied her mother to every show, setting the stage on fire with her spotless choreography. Social media users have now been fondly calling her 'Destiny's Grandchild.' Bey also welcomed her husband, rapper Jay-Z, on stage for a rendition of their 2003 collab, Crazy In Love.
