Brahmastra Cast Members Share First Motion Poster Featuring Ranbir Kapoor

The upcoming film Brahmastra came out with its first motion poster on Wednesday. The poster features actor Ranbir Kapoor seemingly introducing his character to the audience.

The cast members of the film along with creator Ayan Mukherji and Karan Johar shared the poster of their social media handles and confirmed the release date of the film. The film is going to hit the theatres on September 9, 2022. It has been long time since the film has been making buzz during and after its production, the release date was delayed a number of times due to the COVID-19 restrictions in the country.

Brahmastra Motion Poster:

The motion poster released on Wednesday had Ranbir Kapoor's character talking to one Isha ( Alia Bhatt's character) about something bad happening around. The man named Shiva then gets consumed by fire and thunder and the figure of Lord Shiva is seen behind him. The VFX-enhanced poster showed Kapoor holding a trishul in his hands. The text on the poster read, 'Part One-Shiva'. The film is going to be the first one of the three-part trilogy.

Kapoor's character knows about something bad happening on earth that nobody knows about. By the looks of the poster, one can assume that Ranbir Kapoor's character will have mystical powers, someone born for the greater good.

It has been four years since the film has been in the making. Kapoor will star as Shiva, Alia Bhatt will play the role of Isha and Amitabh Bachchan will play the role of Kapoor's guru. Mouri Roy famous for her roles on television will also be seen in the film along with Nagarjuna.

The reportedly big budget film has been bankrolled by Dharma Productions. As per reports, the director Ayan Mukherji came up with the concept in 2011 when he was working on his popular film Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani.
