Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Jahnvi Kapoor Condemn Pahalgam Terror Attack

The recent terror attack in Pahalgam has shaken the entire nation, and several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to strongly condemn the incident. They have taken to social media to share their grief, extend support to the victims' families, and demand justice.

Priyanka Chopra described the attack as "reprehensible" in her Instagram post. Expressing her grief, she wrote that many innocent lives were "targeted" and caught in a storm they "never asked for."

Kangana Ranaut also condemned the horrific incident, expressing anger over the open-fire attack that claimed dozens of lives.

Alia Bhatt shared a heartfelt and emotional message on Instagram, writing, “The news from Pahalgam is heartbreaking. Innocent lives lost. Tourists, families, people who were just... living. Seeking beauty. Seeking peace. And now there's only grief. And the unbearable weight of it.”

Anushka Sharma took to Instagram stories and wrote, “Heartbroken to hear about the cold-blooded terror attack on innocent people in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Heartfelt, prayers and condolences to their families."

Janhvi Kapoor was deeply affected, writing, "Shocked and heartbroken for the innocent lives lost in the Pahalgam terrorist attack... Praying for the souls we lost and their families. Your people are with you. We mourn with you. May gods strength see you through this unimaginable pain."

Raveena Tandon expressed her sorrow and anger over the attack, saying, "Om Shanti. condolences. Shocked and angry. No words to express the anguish. Prayers and strength to the victims. Time we all let go of petty in-house fighting, UNITE and realise the true enemy."

Karan Johar shared journalist Faye D'Souza's post and added, "This is heartbreaking ... Prayers to the families and loved ones of the innocent lives lost in this heinous attack..."

Vicky Kaushal echoed the same sentiment, writing on Instagram, "Can't imagine the pain of the family members who lost their loved ones in the absolutely inhumane act of terrorism in Pahalgam. My deepest condolences and prayers."

Akshay Kumar expressed his anger and grief, saying, "Horrified to know of the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam. Sheer evil to kill innocent people like this. Prayers for their families."

Sanjay Dutt called for action against the terrorists, writing, "They killed our people in cold blood. This can’t be forgiven, these terrorists need to know we are not staying quiet. We need to retaliate, I request our Prime Minister @narendramodi ji, Home Minister @AmitShah ji and Defence Minister @rajnathsingh ji to give them what they deserve."

Sidharth Malhotra said, "The terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, on innocent civilians is a cowardly act. I have full faith in our armed forces, and I'm sure they will do the needful and ensure justice. My prayers and thoughts are with the families of the innocent victims. Jai Hind!"

Sonu Sood also posted, "Strongly condemn the cowardly terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Kashmir’s #Pahalgam... My deepest condolences to the families who lost their dear ones and prayers for early recovery of those who are injured. Om Sai ram."

Anupam Kher posted a video, recalling past tragedies faced by Kashmiri Hindus and expressing his outrage over the attack.

Other celebrities including, Hina Khan and Farhan Akhtar also spoke out. 

TV actor Shoaib Ibrahim, who was recently in Kashmir with his wife Dipika Kakar and their son Ruhaan, took to Instagram to reassure fans about their safety following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam. In his Instagram Stories, Shoaib wrote, “Hi guys, you all have been concerned for our well-being… Hum sab safe hain, theek hain. Aaj hi morning me we left Kashmir… and have reached Delhi safely… Thank you for all the concern. New vlog coming soon.”

While many appreciated his message confirming their safety, a section of social media users felt the timing of his vlog announcement could have been more sensitive, considering the tragic incident.
