Ayesha Kapur, best known for her role in Black (2005), has embarked on a new journey as she married her long-time partner, Adam Oberoi. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony held in Delhi over the weekend. For her special day, Ayesha Kapur wore a soft pink lehenga, keeping her bridal look elegant yet minimal. She completed her attire with a single dupatta. Meanwhile, Adam complemented her perfectly in a pastel-hued sherwani, pairing it with a matching pink turban that added a regal touch to the wedding celebration.

Ayesha Kapur’s Journey in Showbiz
Born and raised in Auroville, Tamil Nadu, Ayesha Kapur is the daughter of Dilip Kapur, founder of the luxury brand Hidesign. Ayesha first gained recognition for her outstanding performance as the young Michelle McNally in Black, where she starred alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Rani Mukerji. Interestingly, she was trained for the role by Ranbir Kapoor, who was then working as an assistant director on the film.
Following her successful debut, she appeared in Sikandar (2009) as a child actor. However, despite early success, she chose to step away from Bollywood.
Though Ayesha initially moved away from the film industry, she was once set to return with Shekhar Kapur’s ambitious project Paani, alongside the late Sushant Singh Rajput. Unfortunately, the film never materialised. In 2022, she announced another comeback with Hari Ka Om. The film had its world premiere on July 21, 2024, before being showcased at the 15th edition of the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, held from August 15 to 25.
Currently, Ayesha is an integrative nutrition health coach, guiding people toward a healthier lifestyle. While she may have taken a different career path, her fans still remember her for the impact she made as a child star.
