Bipasha Basu swept everyone with her beauty and boldness when she was a regular on the silver screen. Basu took a step back from her career to focus on her family in the last few years but her fans are still head over heels for her aura.

Bipasha Basu turns 44 this year and throughout her journey, she has only inspired everyone. Basu started her career in modelling back in 1996 and then went on to debut in her first Bollywood film in Ajnabee opposite Akshay Kumar in 2001. Basu is best known for her thriller series Raaz which started in 2002 and continued for several years with its sequel. She received many awards for her performance and continued to feature in films till 2015. She did Alone with her now husband Karan Singh Grover and soon later got married to him. A major life update occurred to Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover's life is the birth of their baby Devi Basu Singh Grover. Basu got pregnant last year and announced it to the world, she and her husband are quite active on social media and they shared several moments of their pregnancy journey with their followers. It was a photo shoot the couple did to announce their life update back in August 2016. While they shared the photo of Basu in a white shirt and bare baby bump as her husband holds it, she wrote, "A new time, a new phase, a new light adds another unique shade to our prism of life. Making us a little more whole than we used to be. We began this life individually and then we met each other and from then we were two. Too much love for only two, seemed a little unfair for us to see…so soon, we who once were two will now become three. A creation manifested by our love, our baby will join us soon and add to our glee". A few weeks later, Basu shared another photo of her in a see-through black attire as she flaunts her baby bump. But to the netizens, these photos did not sit quite right as they claimed that her clothes her inappropriate for an expecting mother.

The actor did not accept such judgements on her choice of clothes and in an interview told, "You can’t be deciding everything that you do or say on the basis of what people want you to do or say. Bipasha Basu belongs to a Bengali household and for her traditional baby shower, Basu shared photos and videos of her mother throwing her a "shaadh" which is the Bengali term for a baby shower. She could be seen eating a plate full of typical Bengali cuisine after her mother and other relatives bless her with a puja thali.

Basu has shared several photos of her growing bump in the next few weeks. She shared a fun video of her husband and other dads engaging in a fun challenge to put on a diaper on a doll while their eyes were closed with a beanie. The video looks very fun as Basu calls them 'diaper dads'. Finally, on November 12, 2022, Bipasha Babu gave birth to her daughter Devi as she announced it on her Instagram account. In the collaborated post with her husband, they captioned it saying, "Blessed 🙏🔱🧿". Basu and Grover shared the first glimpse of their baby while hiding her face and wrote, "Our recipe for making a sweet baby angel👼🧿
