1. Pooja Bhatt - Bombay Begums

In Alankrita Shrivastava's empowering Netflix show, Pooja Bhatt is phenomenal completely immersing herself in her character. She shines brightest as a mother, and in a few scenes, she even makes us cry. It's wonderful to see her back on screen in such a significant role after a 21-year absence.

She gives a multi-layered performance, appearing majestic on the outside but vulnerable beneath her dazzling saris.  We are naturally concerned about her because of all of her ups and downs in this show.  All thanks to her acting!

2. Zoya Hussain - Grahan

Grahan tells the story of two lovers and a daughter who yearns for the truth. The show makes subtle allusions to the country's caste discrimination, gender discrimination, and poverty.

Amrita Singh, played by Zoya Hussain, is a righteous IPS officer who believes that her position allows her to make a difference in society. With her commendable performance, Zoya grabs the audience’s attention in this series. Without being melodramatic, she expresses her pain and doubts.

3. Priyamani - Family Man 2

People in Season 2 of Family Man are enthralled by Suchitra (Priyamani). Her personality is complex, and she is aware of her husband's secret, but she is also tired of making all of the house sacrifices. She is a mother of two children in the show. She wants to change her job because she is attracted to a coworker.

She is a self-contained individual. Priyamani does such a good job portraying the character that real-life women will be able to relate to her and her problems. Season 1's most important takeaway is how under-utilised actors like Priyamani are, and how OTT can give them new life.

4. Konkana Sen Sharma - Mumbai Dairies 26/11

Despite her troubled past, Konkona Sen Sharma, the social services director, provides reliable support and still empathises with the poor. In the midst of the chaos, the way she moves her shoulder gives us an idea of how exhausted the staff is. Her performance is just perfect as always. She keeps you glued to the screen when she is on it.

5. Huma Qureshi - Maharani

Huma Qureshi plays an illiterate housewife who rises through the ranks to become the Chief Minister. Seeing a woman who was vulnerable and so under confident before, dominating the social and political arena later was fascinating to the audience.

In the role of Rani, she is fantastic. Her body language and eyes both scream vulnerability. As the series progresses, however, we see how her fortitude grows as she matures into a leader. Huma is incredible, and this will go down as one of the best performances in her film career.

6. Sushmita Sen - Aarya

Sushmita Sen's performance as Aarya astounded those who had never seen her in a role other than her usual ones. The show is enjoyable, though not unique; Sen does an excellent job portraying the stoic character; however, it is not historically accurate.

Sushmita Sen makes a strong digital debut, and it's great to see her on-screen again after such a long time. Her captivating personality and outstanding acting abilities make her an excellent choice for the role of Aarya. Even when she uses a derogatory term, she does so gracefully that it's difficult not to admire her. We hadn't seen her in a long time.

7. Shefali Shah - Delhi Crime

Delhi In 2012, a heinous gang rape case made national headlines, and the story is set in the aftermath of that case.

Every single, small detail was important in creating the character, and Shefali did it in a realistic manner. The actor delves into her character's inner complexity and recreates the emotions that the character would have experienced in a real-world situation.
