Bennifer: The Rekindled Romance Between JLo And Ben Affleck

Bennifer, the rekindled romance between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck has attracted a lot of media and paparazzi attention since they seem to be back together again.

After their relationship that broke up in 2004, Bennifer is expected to be back together since the paparazzi caught them on camera many times since the end of April till now.

The couple is rumoured to be back together after 17 years of their separation. Many have addressed this patch up as “rebounding together” since both of them have experienced public breakups recently and are single at the same time.

While the couple was deeply in love in 2002-2004, they faced a lot of backlash from people. Earlier this year, Affleck recalled how Lopez had to face criticism while they were together.

The couple was together for about 18 months and received an enormous amount of attention which “engendered an enormous amount of resentment” as stated by Ben. The 2003 movie Gigli, in which the couple was starred together failed at the box office driving even more criticism towards the relationship.

Despite all the backlash that Lopez received during the course of the relationship, Ben acknowledges the irony how she has started to be embraced now.

“People were so f***ing mean about her,” he continued. “Sexist, racist, ugly, vicious s*** was written about her in ways that if you wrote it now, you would literally be fired for saying those things you said. Now she’s lionised and respected for the work she did, where she came from, what she’s accomplished, as well she f***ing should be.” He remarked.

With the rekindled romance between the two during these past few days, they have gained the attention of the public and media all over again. Certain sources have reported that they are happy and might be taking it slow for now.

“He’s really making a huge effort. J.Lo thinks Ben has really stepped up and loves this version of him. It’s comforting to her and she is smitten. They are giddy together and you can tell she’s really happy.” The source reported.

Affleck has been seen hanging out at J.Lo’s place many times in Miami and has also been spotted wearing the watch she gifted him back in which he often wore back during their ongoing relationship. The couple is said to have taken a vacation to Montana earlier in May.

Lopez parted ways with her then-fiancé Alex Rodriguez back in April just before she started hanging out with Ben. Affleck also broke up with his then-girlfriend Ana de Armas back in January after being involved since early 2020.

While the Paparazzi seem obsessed with the rekindled romance, the rumoured couple seem very happy and content with each other’s company. People are gushing with admiration over their revived romance who once were critical of the same.
